Perfect for Arduino Projects
This sensor module works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The analog output gives smooth readings for light intensity, and the digital threshold is easy to adjust with the onboard potentiometer. Great value for the price.

Does exactly what it says
Simple plug-and-play functionality. I connected it to a 5V relay module to control a lamp based on ambient light, and it switched perfectly at dusk. The adjustment screw allows for precise tuning.

Great for classroom kits

Excellent Analog Response

Good sensitivity, clear instructions needed
The photodiode is very sensitive and reacts quickly to changes in light. I wish it came with a printed pinout diagram, but I found the details online easily. Works great for my automatic night light project.

Reliable and Compact
I bought five of these for a home automation system. All of them performed consistently. The form factor is small enough to fit into tight enclosures. Highly recommended for hobbyists.

A: Use a small screwdriver to turn the blue potentiometer on the board while monitoring the DO pin or the status LED. Turn it until the output switches at your desired light level.

A: The photodiode is primarily sensitive to visible light, though it may have some minor response to near-infrared wavelengths. It is optimized for general ambient light detection applications.
Q: What is the difference between the DO and AO pins?
A: The AO (Analog Output) pin provides a continuous voltage proportional to the light intensity. The DO (Digital Output) pin acts as a switch that goes high or low when the light level crosses the threshold set by the potentiometer.
