Great for learning electronics
As a beginner, this was an excellent component to understand how analog sensors can be converted to digital signals. The included Dupont lines made connecting to my breadboard super easy.

Good value, clear instructions needed
The sensor itself is great and responds quickly to light changes. I deducted one star because it didn't come with a printed pinout diagram, but a quick online search solved that.

Perfect for my Arduino project

Reliable and compact
I bought five of these for a garden lighting system. They are small, easy to mount, and the LM393 chip ensures stable output signals even with fluctuating power.
Q: Can this sensor detect infrared light?
A: This is a standard photoresistor module designed primarily for visible light detection. It is not optimized for specific infrared wavelengths.
Q: Are the Dupont lines male-to-male or female-to-female?
A: The included Dupont lines are typically Female-to-Male, designed to connect the module's male header pins to a breadboard or microcontroller.
Q: Can this module be used directly with a 3.3V microcontroller?
A: Yes, the operating voltage range is 3.3V to 5V DC, so it is fully compatible with 3.3V systems like the ESP8266 or ESP32.
Q: What is the maximum current this module draws?
A: The module consumes very little power, typically around 10-15mA when active, making it suitable for battery-powered projects.
Q: Does the output signal stay high when it is dark or when it is light?
