Solid entry-level camera module
If you are new to image sensors, this is the one to start with. Not for high-end photography, but perfect for understanding data streams.
Q: Does this module come with a lens cap?
A: No, the module does not include a lens cap. We recommend storing it in an anti-static bag when not in use.
Q: Can this run at 60fps?
A: At maximum resolution (VGA), it supports up to 30fps. Lower resolutions like QVGA may achieve higher frame rates depending on your bus speed.
Q: Is 5V logic level safe for the data pins?
A: The sensor core operates at 3.3V. While the board has a regulator, we strongly recommend using 3.3V logic for data lines to ensure stability.
Q: What is the pinout for the SCCB interface?
A: The SCL and SDA pins are located on the 2x5 header. Please refer to the schematic diagram in the downloadable datasheet for exact pin numbers.
Q: Is the source code for the STM32 driver included?
A: Yes, a link to the GitHub repository containing example C code for STM32 HAL is provided in the product manual PDF.
