Saved my project
I bought the wrong sensors for my Arduino project (NPN instead of PNP). Instead of returning them, I grabbed this converter. It solved the logic level issue immediately.

Solid little converter
Does exactly what it says. Build quality is decent for the price. I wish the terminal blocks were slightly larger for thicker gauge wires, but it works fine with standard 22AWG.

Compact and efficient
Great form factor. Fits easily into tight control cabinets. The voltage range is wide enough to handle both 12V and 24V systems without adjustment.

Works but instructions could be better
The device functions correctly, but the diagram on the board is tiny. I had to look up a datasheet online to confirm the pinout. Once wired, it works great.

Perfect for PLC interfacing
I needed to connect an NPN proximity sensor to a PNP input PLC. This module worked flawlessly right out of the box. The wiring is clearly labeled and the response time is instant.

Reliable in industrial setting
We have installed about 20 of these on our assembly line over the last month. No failures so far. The LEDs are bright enough to see status from a distance.
Q: Are the terminals screw-type or solder-only?
A: The module features removable screw terminal blocks, allowing for easy installation and maintenance without the need for soldering.
Q: What is the maximum current the output can drive?
A: The maximum load current for the PNP output is 100mA. This is sufficient for driving most PLC inputs, relays, or small indicator lights.
Q: Is there any delay in signal conversion?
A: The response time is extremely fast, typically less than 1 millisecond, which ensures real-time performance for high-speed counting or positioning tasks.
Q: Does it work with optical photoelectric sensors?
A: Absolutely. As long as your photoelectric sensor outputs an NPN signal, this module will convert it to PNP regardless of whether it is reflective, through-beam, or diffuse.
Q: Can this module handle 24V DC input directly?
A: Yes, this converter supports a wide input voltage range from DC 5V up to 24V, making it suitable for most industrial sensor applications.
