Solid build quality
The PCB looks clean and the soldering points are well done. It responded quickly to changes in light intensity during my testing. Only minor issue is the header pins were slightly bent upon arrival, but easy to fix.

Easy to use
As someone new to electronics, I found this module very forgiving. Connecting VCC, GND, and OUT was all it took to get it working. The tutorial examples online for this specific board are plentiful.

Reliable comparator module
I use this primarily for pulse detection in a tachometer setup. The LM393 chip provides stable comparisons and the red LED gives a clear visual indication of the trigger state. Highly recommended.

Good sensitivity range
The potentiometer allows for a wide range of threshold adjustments. It worked well for detecting shadows in my light barrier experiment. Documentation could be better, but standard LM393 datasheets apply.

Great for university projects
Bought five of these for a sensor array project. All of them worked out of the box. The digital output makes interfacing with microcontrollers incredibly simple without needing extra code for analog reading.

Perfect for beginner robotics
This LM393 module works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The sensitivity adjustment is very smooth, allowing me to calibrate it perfectly for my line-following robot. Great value for the price.
Q: Does this come with header pins pre-soldered?
