Solid build quality
The PCB looks clean and the soldering points are well-made. The load cell feels sturdy. Only minor issue was the connector wires were a bit short for my enclosure.

Best budget sensor module
For the price, you cannot beat this. It includes everything needed to start building a digital scale immediately. Works perfectly with Python on Raspberry Pi as well.

Good sensor, instructions could be better
The hardware quality is solid and readings are stable. However, the included paper manual is very brief. I had to look up online tutorials to get started.
Q: Does this module work with 3.3V logic levels?
A: Yes, the HX711 module operates within a voltage range of 2.6V to 5.5V, making it fully compatible with 3.3V microcontrollers like the ESP32 or standard Arduino boards.
Q: How do I calibrate the sensor?
A: Calibration involves placing a known weight on the sensor and adjusting the scale factor in your code until the output matches the known weight. Detailed steps are provided in our online user guide.
Q: What is the update rate of this module?
A: The HX711 chip supports two selectable output data rates: 10Hz or 80Hz, which can be configured by connecting the RATE pin to GND or leaving it floating, respectively.
Q: Can I use the 10kg load cell for weights under 100 grams?
A: While technically possible, accuracy may decrease at very low weights relative to the maximum capacity. For best precision with small items, we recommend using the 1kg load cell option.
Q: Is a library available for MicroPython?
