Works but calibration takes time
The hardware is good, but you really need to let it run in fresh air for a while to calibrate baseline values. Once calibrated, the readings are much more trustworthy. Just be patient during setup.

Perfect for my smart home project
This module integrates easily with my ESP32 setup. The UART communication is stable, and the data readings seem consistent when compared to my standalone CO2 meter. Great value for a 3-in-1 sensor.

Solid performance for the price
I am using this to monitor my office ventilation. It alerts me when CO2 levels get too high, helping me stay focused. The VOC sensor is sensitive to alcohol-based cleaners, which is expected behavior.

Excellent integration capability

Compact and reliable

Good accuracy, needs warm-up
The sensor works well once it has warmed up for a few minutes. Initially, the readings fluctuate, but they stabilize quickly. The formaldehyde detection is a nice bonus feature for peace of mind.
Q: Does this module require an external library for Arduino?
A: Yes, while you can read the raw UART data directly, we recommend using our provided library or generic MH-Z19 compatible libraries to parse the CO2, VOC, and Formaldehyde data easily.
Q: How often should I calibrate the CO2 sensor?
A: We recommend performing a baseline calibration in a well-ventilated outdoor area once every 1-2 months for optimal long-term accuracy, although the module has some auto-calibration features.
Q: What is the power consumption of this module?
A: The average power consumption is approximately 100mA during active measurement. Peak consumption may occur briefly during the internal heating element cycle.
Q: Can this sensor detect carbon monoxide (CO)?
A: No, this specific 3-in-1 module is designed to detect Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), and Formaldehyde (HCHO). It does not detect Carbon Monoxide (CO).
Q: Is the formaldehyde sensor electrochemical or semiconductor?
