Compact and powerful
Don't let the small size fool you. This little board handles load cells with ease. The noise rejection is impressive even without a shielded enclosure.

Great value, minor soldering needed
The sensor is compact and accurate. I had to solder headers myself which wasn't a problem, but beginners should be aware. Once connected, the readings were stable immediately.

Perfect for DIY Scales
This module works flawlessly with my Arduino project. The 24-bit precision is noticeable when measuring small weight changes. Setup was straightforward using existing libraries.

Reliable for student projects
We bought ten of these for our robotics club. All units performed consistently. The dual-channel support is a nice bonus for differential measurements.

Exceeded expectations
Used this to build a smart pet feeder. The response time is quick and the integration with ESP32 was seamless. Highly recommend for IoT weight applications.

Good precision, watch the wiring
Accuracy is excellent for the price point. Just ensure your wiring to the load cell is secure, as loose connections can cause drift. Overall very satisfied.
Q: Can I use this with a 3.3V microcontroller like the ESP8266?
A: Yes, the HX711 operates within a voltage range of 2.6V to 5.5V, making it fully compatible with 3.3V logic systems such as the ESP8266 and ESP32.
Q: Is there a library available for Arduino?
A: Yes, there are several open-source libraries available in the Arduino Library Manager. We recommend searching for 'HX711' to find the most popular and well-maintained options.
Q: What is the maximum update rate for this sensor?
A: The module supports two selectable output data rates: 10 samples per second (SPS) for higher precision or 80 SPS for faster response times, controlled by the RATE pin.
Q: How many wires does the load cell connection require?
A: It depends on your load cell. Most standard 4-wire load cells connect directly. For 6-wire load cells, you typically join the sense wires to the excitation wires unless high-precision long-cable compensation is needed.
Q: Does this module come with the load cell included?
A: No, this listing is for the HX711 amplifier module only. You will need to purchase a compatible load cell separately based on your weight range requirements.
