Easy to integrate

Perfect for DIY Scales

Good value, small footprint
Compact size fits well in tight enclosures. Signal noise is low when properly grounded. Only giving 4 stars because the included pins were slightly bent, but easy to fix.

Solid performance
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Readings are repeatable and accurate. Make sure you have a stable power supply to get the best noise performance.
Q: Does this come with a load cell included?
A: No, this package contains only the HX711 amplifier module and pin headers. You will need to purchase a compatible load cell separately.
Q: Is there a library available for Python on Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, there are several open-source Python libraries available on GitHub specifically designed to interface the HX711 with Raspberry Pi GPIO pins.
Q: Can this module work with a 3.3V microcontroller?
A: Yes, the HX711 operates within a voltage range of 2.6V to 5.5V, so it is fully compatible with 3.3V systems like many ESP32 or STM32 boards.
Q: How do I switch between 10Hz and 80Hz refresh rates?
A: The refresh rate is selected by the state of the RATE pin. Connect the RATE pin to GND for 10Hz or leave it floating (or connect to VCC) for 80Hz.
Q: What is the difference between Channel A and Channel B?
A: Channel A has a programmable gain of 32, 64, or 128, while Channel B has a fixed gain of 32. You can select the channel and gain by pulling the PD_SCK pin low after resetting.
