Stable and Reliable
I've used these modules in three different robotics projects now. They handle noise well and the ability to switch between 10Hz and 80Hz sampling rates is a nice feature for filtering vibrations.

Essential component for weight sensing
Bought a batch of ten for our community workshop. Every single unit worked out of the box. The precision is excellent for loads under 5kg when paired with appropriate load cells.

Low power consumption is a plus
Using this in a battery-powered IoT device. The power-down mode really helps extend battery life. Data transmission is fast and consistent over the two-wire interface.

Great value, minor wiring confusion
The sensor itself is high quality and very precise. I deducted one star because the pinout diagram on the back was slightly faded, but once I found the datasheet online, it worked perfectly.

Perfect for DIY Scale Projects
This HX711 module works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The 24-bit resolution provides incredibly stable readings for my kitchen scale project. Setup was straightforward using the standard library.

Good product, needs patience
As a beginner, I found the calibration process a bit tricky at first, but that's more about the complexity of weighing scales than the module itself. Once calibrated, it holds zero very well.
Q: Is there a library available for Python?
A: Yes, there are several open-source libraries available for Python, particularly for Raspberry Pi projects. We recommend checking GitHub for 'HX711 Python' to find the most updated version suitable for your OS.
Q: How do I switch between 10Hz and 80Hz sampling rates?
A: The sampling rate is selected by the state of the PD_SCK pin when the chip wakes up from power-down. Pulling the pin low selects 10Hz, while pulling it high selects 80Hz. This is usually handled in the code library initialization.
Q: Does this come with load cells included?
A: No, this listing is for the HX711 amplifier module only. You will need to purchase compatible strain gauge load cells separately to complete your weighing setup.
Q: Can this module work with a 3.3V microcontroller like the ESP32?
A: Yes, the HX711 operates within a voltage range of 2.6V to 5.5V, making it fully compatible with 3.3V logic systems like the ESP32 and Raspberry Pi without needing level shifters.
Q: What is the difference between Channel A and Channel B?
A: Channel A has selectable gains of 32 or 64, while Channel B has a fixed gain of 32. Channel A is typically used for higher precision measurements, while Channel B can be used for a second scale or differential input.
