Good value, small footprint
Compact size fits well into tight enclosures. Signal noise is low when properly grounded. Only giving 4 stars because the included pins were slightly bent, but easily fixed.

Perfect for DIY Scales
This module works flawlessly with my Arduino project. The 24-bit resolution provides very stable readings for my kitchen scale build. Setup was straightforward using standard libraries.

Easy to interface

Solid performance
Works as expected for weight measurement in my robot arm gripper. The refresh rate switching is a nice feature to balance speed and precision.

A: Absolutely. This module is designed to interface with standard strain gauge load cells of various capacities, including 5kg, provided the wiring configuration matches the channel settings.
Q: How do I switch between 10Hz and 80Hz refresh rates?
A: The refresh rate is selected by the number of clock pulses sent after a data readout. Please refer to the HX711 datasheet section on serial interface timing for specific pulse counts.
Q: Does it come with a library for Python?
A: The hardware itself does not include software, but there are many open-source Python libraries available on GitHub specifically designed for the HX711 chip that work seamlessly.
Q: Can this module work with a 3.3V microcontroller?
A: Yes, the HX711 operates within a voltage range of 2.6V to 5.5V, making it fully compatible with 3.3V systems like many ARM boards and ESP8266 modules.
