Solid performance
Works exactly as described. The response time is quick enough for our HVAC logging needs. Documentation could be slightly more detailed regarding error codes, but overall very satisfied.

Robust build quality
We deployed ten of these units in a humid processing facility. They have been running 24/7 for three months with zero drift or connectivity drops. Highly recommended for harsh environments.
Q: Is the unit calibrated before shipping?
A: Yes, every unit undergoes factory calibration against traceable standards before packaging. A calibration certificate is available upon request for bulk orders.
Q: Can this operate directly on 24V AC power?
A: No, this module requires DC power input between 12V and 24V DC. Connecting it to AC power may damage the internal circuitry.
Q: What is the maximum cable length recommended for RS485 connection?
A: For reliable communication at standard baud rates (9600bps), we recommend a maximum cable length of 1200 meters using shielded twisted pair cable.
Q: How do I reset the device to factory settings?
A: You can reset the device by sending the specific Modbus command to the configuration register or by shorting the reset pins on the PCB for 5 seconds while powered.
Q: Does this sensor support multiple slave IDs on the same bus?
A: Yes, the device supports configurable slave IDs from 1 to 247, allowing you to connect multiple sensors on a single RS485 bus.
