Reliable presence detection
Works as advertised. It distinguishes between humans and pets better than expected. Only minor issue is the range drops slightly if there is a thick wall.

Easy integration with ESP32

Best value mmWave sensor
For the price, you cannot beat the features. Bluetooth provisioning makes setup so much faster than soldering wires just to change settings. Very happy with this purchase.

Finally, no more lights turning off!
I replaced my old motion sensor with this. Now the bathroom light stays on while I'm reading, even if I sit still. The light sensing feature is a nice bonus for day/night logic.

Perfect for Smart Home Automation
This sensor is incredibly accurate. Unlike PIR sensors, it detects even slight movements like typing or breathing. The Bluetooth configuration via the app was seamless.

Great module, needs some tuning
Hardware quality is excellent. Out of the box, the sensitivity was a bit high for my small office, but after adjusting the gates in the config tool, it works flawlessly.
Q: Can I adjust the sensitivity zones?
A: Absolutely. You can use the Hi-Link mobile app via Bluetooth to configure up to 8 detection gates, setting specific distances and sensitivity levels for each zone.
Q: What is the maximum distance it can reliably detect?
A: The maximum detection range is up to 6 meters in an open environment. Obstacles like walls or furniture may reduce this range depending on the material density.
Q: Is the Bluetooth connection secure for home use?
A: Yes, the module uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) with standard encryption protocols suitable for local configuration and smart home integration.
Q: Does it work with Home Assistant?
A: Yes, many users integrate this sensor with Home Assistant using ESPHome or custom MQTT bridges. The UART output provides clear presence and distance data.
Q: Can this sensor detect someone sitting still at a desk?
