Perfect for my smart hallway lights
This sensor works flawlessly with my ESP32 project. The detection range is accurate, and the low power consumption is exactly what I needed for a battery-backed system. Setup was straightforward.

Consistent performance
I've been running this module for three months straight in my garage. It hasn't missed a single motion event, and the power draw is negligible. Highly recommended.

Compact and efficient
Impressed by how small this unit is. It fits easily into tight junction boxes. The response time is instant when someone walks in, making it ideal for stairwells.

Good sensitivity, needs calibration
The module is very sensitive, which is great, but I had to spend some time adjusting the potentiometer to avoid false triggers from moving curtains. Once calibrated, it works perfectly.

Reliable for commercial lighting
We integrated these into several office lighting prototypes. The 5.8GHz radar penetrates thin materials well, allowing us to hide the sensor behind plastic covers without losing performance.

Great value for money
For the price, you can't beat the performance. It's not as feature-rich as some expensive industrial sensors, but for hobbyist and basic home automation, it exceeds expectations.
Q: How long is the delay time adjustable for?
A: The delay time is adjustable via a second potentiometer on the board, typically ranging from a few seconds up to several minutes depending on your specific setting.
Q: What is the maximum current output of the signal pin?
A: The output is a TTL level signal. Please ensure your load does not exceed the specified current limits of your microcontroller or relay driver connected to the output.
Q: Is there a way to adjust the detection distance?
A: Yes, there is an onboard potentiometer labeled 'Range' that allows you to fine-tune the detection distance between approximately 3 to 8 meters.
Q: Does this work with 12V systems directly?
A: No, the operating voltage is DC 3.3V to 5V. If you need to use it with a 12V system, you must use a voltage regulator or step-down module.
Q: Can this sensor detect motion through a glass cover?
A: Yes, the 5.8GHz radar waves can penetrate non-metallic materials like glass, plastic, and wood, allowing the sensor to be concealed.
