Perfect for my self-balancing robot
The GY-25T provided very stable angle readings right out of the box. The serial output is easy to parse with an Arduino, and the tilt compensation works flawlessly. Highly recommended for hobbyist robotics projects.

Great starter sensor
As someone new to IMUs, this module made learning much easier. The built-in fusion algorithm means I don't have to write complex Kalman filters from scratch. Excellent product for beginners.

Easy integration
I was able to get data flowing within 30 minutes of unboxing. The command set is straightforward, and the update rate is sufficient for most real-time control applications. No drift issues observed during short tests.

Reliable for student projects

Works as advertised
Using this for a camera gimbal stabilizer. The pitch and roll angles are accurate. Only minor issue is that the default baud rate was different than expected, but easily changed via command.

Good value, clear documentation
Solid sensor module for the price. The I2C interface works well, though I had to adjust the pull-up resistors on my custom board. The angle calculation algorithm embedded in the chip saves a lot of processing power on the MCU.
Q: Is there a library available for ESP32?
A: While we do not host an official library, there are several open-source community libraries available on GitHub that support the GY-25T protocol for ESP32 and ESP8266 platforms.
Q: Can I use this with a Raspberry Pi?
A: Absolutely. Since the module supports I2C communication, you can easily connect it to the GPIO pins of a Raspberry Pi. Ensure you enable the I2C interface in the Raspi-config settings.
Q: How do I calibrate the sensor if the angles seem off?
A: You can perform a calibration by placing the module on a flat, stationary surface and sending the zero-calibration command via serial or I2C. Refer to the user manual for the specific command string.
