Great accuracy, tricky soldering
The pressure readings are very precise for my home weather station project. Just be careful when soldering the pins as the pads are small.

Exceeded expectations
I was worried about noise in the data, but the internal filtering on this chip is excellent. Very clean output right out of the box.

Good value for money
Solid performance for the price point. The SPI mode is faster which helps in high-frequency logging applications.
Q: Does this module come with header pins pre-soldered?
A: No, the module typically comes with unsoldered header pins to allow for flexible mounting options. You will need to solder them yourself.
Q: Is there a waterproof casing available for this specific board?
A: This specific breakout board is not waterproof. However, the sensor chip itself is protected; for outdoor use, we suggest placing the board in a breathable waterproof enclosure.
Q: Do you provide sample code for Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, we have Python examples available in our GitHub repository specifically designed for Raspberry Pi GPIO usage with this MS5611 module.
Q: Can this sensor work with a 5V Arduino Uno directly?
A: The sensor operates at 3.3V logic. While it can tolerate 5V power input on some breakout boards, we recommend using a logic level shifter for the data lines to ensure long-term reliability.
Q: What is the update rate for pressure readings?
A: The update rate depends on the oversampling ratio (OSR) setting. It ranges from approximately 1ms at OSR=256 to about 9ms at OSR=4096.
