Great for vibration monitoring

Easy to integrate
The three-pin layout makes wiring very straightforward. Documentation could be better, but there are plenty of tutorials online for piezo sensors that work perfectly with this module.

Good value for the price
Solid build quality for a budget component. It picked up vibrations through the table effectively. Only minor issue is the header pins were slightly loose, but a quick solder fixed that.

A: This module is designed primarily for physical vibrations and shocks transmitted through the surface it is mounted on. While loud sounds can cause vibrations, it is not a dedicated microphone for capturing audio signals.
Q: Is this compatible with Raspberry Pi GPIO pins?
A: Yes, it is compatible. However, since the output is analog and Raspberry Pi GPIOs are digital, you will need an external ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) like the MCP3008 to read the data.
