Excellent accuracy and speed

Reliable but needs pull-up resistors
Works great once you remember to add external pull-up resistors to the SDA and SCL lines if your board doesn't have them built-in. Once connected properly, the humidity readings are very responsive to changes in the room.

Great for greenhouse monitoring
Using this to monitor humidity in my indoor herb garden. It seems very accurate compared to my standalone hygrometer. The only reason for 4 stars is that the library documentation could be slightly clearer for beginners, but I got it working eventually.

Solid industrial grade performance

Much better than the old DHT11
Finally upgraded my weather station project from the DHT11 to this AHT20 module. The difference in reading stability is night and day. The I2C interface saves GPIO pins on my ESP32, which was a huge bonus. Highly recommended for anyone needing reliable data.
Q: Does this support 5V logic levels directly?
A: The AHT20 chip operates at 1.8V to 3.6V. However, most breakout modules, including ours, feature a voltage regulator and level shifters, making them safe to use with 5V microcontrollers like the Arduino Uno.
Q: What is the maximum cable length recommended for I2C connection?
A: For standard I2C speeds (100kHz), we recommend keeping the cable length under 20-30cm for optimal reliability. If you need longer distances, consider using an I2C extender or buffer chip.
Q: Does this module come with the necessary pull-up resistors installed?
A: Yes, our AHT20 breakout module includes the required 4.7kΩ pull-up resistors on the I2C lines, so you can connect it directly to your microcontroller without extra components.
Q: Is there an Arduino library available for this sensor?
A: Absolutely. You can use the popular 'AHT20' library by ClosedCube or the 'Adafruit_AHTX0' library, both of which are available in the Arduino Library Manager.
Q: Can this sensor be used outdoors in direct rain?
