Great assortment for the workshop
Having all these sizes in one box saves so much time. The storage case keeps them organized. I've used the M5 and M6 sizes frequently for motor mounts with great results.

Good value, slight finish variation
Overall a solid set. The threads are clean and cut easily. I noticed minor variations in the black oxide coating on a few of the M4 screws, but it doesn't affect performance.

Stripped no issues during installation
The internal hex drive is machined precisely. I had no issues with Allen keys slipping or stripping the heads, which is common with cheaper brands. Highly recommended.

True 12.9 hardness
As a mechanical engineer, I verify my fasteners. These tests confirmed they meet the 12.9 hardness specification. Reliable for critical applications where failure is not an option.

Excellent quality for heavy machinery
These 12.9 grade screws are incredibly strong. I used the M8 size to secure a gear on my lathe, and they held up perfectly under high torque. The hex socket didn't strip even when tightened firmly.

Perfect fit for my CNC projects
I needed precise headless screws for a custom CNC build. The flat point provides great stability without damaging the shaft surface too aggressively. The assortment kit is very convenient.
Q: What is the maximum torque rating for the M8 screw?
A: Torque values depend on lubrication and specific application conditions. However, for a dry M8 Grade 12.9 screw, a typical tightening torque is approximately 35-40 Nm. Please consult engineering tables for your specific safety factors.
Q: Does the kit include an Allen key?
A: No, this kit contains only the set screws and the storage case. You will need to use your own metric hex key set for installation.
Q: Can these be used on hardened steel shafts?
A: Yes, the flat point design is specifically intended for use against hardened surfaces to prevent rotation while minimizing surface damage compared to cup points.
Q: Are these screws suitable for outdoor use?
A: While the steel is high-tensile, the black oxide finish offers limited corrosion resistance. For prolonged outdoor exposure, we recommend applying a rust-inhibiting lubricant or choosing stainless steel variants.
Q: What is the thread pitch for the M6 size?
A: The M6 screws in this set feature a standard coarse thread pitch of 1.0mm, adhering to ISO metric standards.
