Perfect for Erhu too!
I was skeptical about using this on my Erhu, but it works beautifully. It gives just the right amount of friction without being too sticky. Very happy with this purchase.

Great for my cello
Works very well on my cello bow. The tone is warm and clear. I took off one star only because the cloth pouch could be slightly larger, but the rosin itself is top quality.

Consistent performance
As a music teacher, I go through rosin quickly. This block lasts a long time and maintains consistent performance from the first use to the last. The dust-free claim is accurate.

Excellent grip without the mess
I've tried many rosins over my twenty years of playing, and this UK brand is fantastic. It provides immediate grip on the bow hair without creating a cloud of dust on my instrument. Highly recommended for orchestral players.

Good value for money
Solid product at a reasonable price. It applies smoothly and helps produce a rich tone on my student violin. Would definitely buy again.

Clean and effective
Finally found a rosin that doesn't leave white powder all over my varnish. The sound quality improved noticeably after switching to this brand. Excellent product.
Q: Can I use this on a viola bow?
A: Yes, this rosin is universally compatible with violin, viola, cello, and even Erhu bows. It provides excellent traction for all these instruments.
Q: What is the best way to clean excess rosin off the instrument?
A: We recommend using a soft, dry microfiber cloth after every playing session. For stubborn buildup, a specialized string cleaner can be used sparingly on the strings, avoiding the varnish.
Q: Is this rosin suitable for a beginner violinist?
A: Yes, absolutely. Its smooth application and controlled grip make it very forgiving for beginners who are still developing their bowing technique.
Q: Does this product contain any animal-derived ingredients?
A: Traditional rosin is derived from pine tree resin. This specific formula is plant-based and does not contain any animal by-products.
Q: How often should I reapply this rosin?
A: It depends on your playing frequency, but generally, applying it every 2-3 hours of practice or when the bow starts to slip is recommended. This high-purity formula lasts longer than standard rosins.
