Exceeded expectations

Reliable remote IO solution

Great value for money

Easy to configure
As someone new to Modbus, I found the address configuration very intuitive. The LED indicators make troubleshooting incredibly easy. Works flawlessly with our PLC.

Solid build quality
The board feels very robust and the optical isolation gives me peace of mind. Setup was straightforward using the provided manual. Only wish the terminal blocks were slightly larger for easier wiring.
Q: Does this module support half-duplex communication?
A: Yes, the RS485 interface operates in half-duplex mode, which is standard for Modbus RTU networks.
Q: What is the maximum wire gauge accepted by the terminals?
A: The screw terminals accept wires ranging from 0.5mm² to 2.5mm² (approximately 20 AWG to 14 AWG).
Q: Can I daisy-chain multiple units on the same bus?
A: Absolutely. You can connect up to 32 devices on a single RS485 bus segment by assigning unique slave IDs to each unit.
Q: Are the relay contacts normally open or normally closed?
A: The relays are Form C (SPDT), providing both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) contacts for each channel.
Q: Is there software included to test the relays?
A: We do not bundle proprietary software, but the device is compatible with any standard Modbus master tool like ModScan or QModMaster available online.
