Q: Are the clamps included suitable for sensitive varnish?

A: The included nickel-plated clamps are standard quality. For instruments with very delicate or antique varnish, we recommend adding a small piece of soft leather between the clamp and the violin body.

Q: Is this suitable for a 3/4 size violin?

A: No, this set is specifically designed and sized for 4/4 (full size) violins. Using it on a 3/4 instrument would require significant modification and is not recommended.

Q: Does this bridge come pre-cut to fit my violin?

A: No, the bridge is supplied as a blank. It must be shaped and fitted to your specific instrument by a qualified luthier to ensure proper sound post alignment and playability.

Q: Will this chinrest work with a tailpiece that has built-in tuners?

A: Yes, the center-mounted design generally clears most tailpieces, including those with integrated fine tuners. However, please check your specific tailpiece clearance before installation.

Q: What is the return policy if the wood grain isn't to my liking?

A: We accept returns within 30 days provided the items have not been permanently altered, glued, or varnished. Once the bridge is cut to fit, it cannot be returned.
