Superior build quality
The fit and finish are immaculate. The ebony grain is stunning, and the silver plating on the keys shows no signs of tarnish after three months of daily use. It comes in a sturdy case too.

Great instrument, requires break-in
The craftsmanship is top-notch. As with any wooden instrument, it needed a few weeks of careful playing to stabilize, but now it plays perfectly in tune across all registers. The short model design is very comfortable.

Lovely sound, slightly heavy
The sound quality is professional grade. My only minor critique is that the solid ebony makes it slightly heavier than my previous composite piccolo, but the tonal benefits outweigh this.

Best upgrade I've made
Upgraded from a student model and the difference is night and day. The response in the third octave is effortless. The split E mechanism works flawlessly.

Exceptional Projection and Tone
This piccolo cuts through the orchestra beautifully. The ebony body provides a warm, rich tone that avoids the shrillness common in metal models. The silver-plated keys feel responsive and well-balanced.

Perfect for solo work
I bought this specifically for high-pitch solo performances. The intonation is surprisingly accurate for a short model, and the key action is smooth. Highly recommend for serious players.
Q: Does this piccolo come with a cleaning rod and swab?
A: Yes, the package includes a wooden cleaning rod, a silk swab, and cork grease to help you maintain the instrument.
Q: What is the warranty period for this instrument?
A: This professional piccolo comes with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, excluding normal wear and tear or damage from misuse.
Q: Can this be used for marching band?
A: While it is a professional concert instrument, we generally do not recommend using solid wood piccolos for marching band due to exposure to extreme weather conditions which can damage the wood.
Q: How do I care for the ebony body in dry climates?
A: We recommend using a humidifier in your case during winter months or in arid climates to prevent the wood from cracking. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
Q: Is the headjoint adjustable for tuning?
A: Absolutely. The headjoint features a traditional tuning slide that allows for precise pitch adjustment to match your ensemble.
