Great tank, slight learning curve
Excellent build quality and truly light-tight. My first attempt at loading the 120 film was tricky in the dark bag, but after watching a tutorial, it became second nature. Chemical usage is very efficient compared to older steel tanks.

Good value with free reels
Getting two extra reels included is a nice bonus. The tank works exactly as advertised. Only minor complaint is that the center column can be a bit stiff to remove when wet, but a little silicone grease solved that.

Reliable and Durable
Dropped mine on the concrete floor accidentally, and it didn't even crack. The plastic is surprisingly tough. The inversion mechanism ensures consistent agitation without opening the tank. Highly recommended for serious hobbyists.

A: No, the standard dual-core configuration supports either two rolls of 135 (35mm) film or one roll of 120 medium format film at a time.
Q: Does this come with a measuring cylinder or thermometer?
A: This package includes the tank and two reels only. Measuring cylinders, thermometers, and stirring rods are sold separately or as part of our complete starter kits.
Q: What is the minimum amount of developer required for one roll of 35mm?
A: For a single roll of 135 film, you will need approximately 300ml of chemical solution to ensure the film is fully submerged and agitated correctly.
Q: How do I clean the tank after using C-41 color chemicals?
A: Rinse thoroughly with warm water immediately after use. For stubborn stains, a mild detergent solution can be used. Avoid abrasive scrubbers that could scratch the plastic interior.
Q: Is the tank compatible with third-party reels?
A: The tank is specifically designed for Paterson Super System 4 reels. While some other brands might fit, we cannot guarantee light-tightness or proper agitation with non-Paterson reels.
