Solid choice for beginners and pros
As a beginner, I was worried about ruining my film, but this tank makes the process forgiving. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price point, but you truly get what you pay for in terms of durability and precision.

Consistent results every time
Temperature retention is excellent with this thick plastic. My development times are consistent now because the tank doesn't lose heat as quickly as thinner alternatives. The agitation is smooth and even.

Great tank, learning curve on reels
The tank itself is fantastic and leak-proof. The universal reels took me a few tries to master loading in the dark, but once you get the technique down, it works flawlessly. Definitely recommend watching a tutorial before your first use.

I bought this to replace an old plastic tank from another brand that cracked. This JOBO unit feels incredibly sturdy. The funnel design makes pouring chemicals in and out very clean with minimal spillage. A worthy investment for any analog photographer.
