Great results but temperature sensitive
The chemical quality is excellent, producing sharp slides with great saturation. However, you really need a precise temperature control system. My first batch had a slight color cast because my water bath fluctuated by half a degree. Once I stabilized the temp, results were flawless.

Good kit, strong odor during bleach
The development process worked perfectly, yielding clean slides. Just be aware that the bleach solution has a fairly strong smell, so definitely do this in a well-ventilated area or under an exhaust fan. Otherwise, no complaints.
Q: Is a specific tank required, or will any standard 35mm tank work?
A: Any standard stainless steel or plastic developing tank designed for 35mm film will work perfectly. Ensure the tank is clean and free of residues from previous processes like black and white development.
Q: Can this kit be used for C-41 negative film?
A: No, this kit is formulated specifically for the E-6 reversal process. Using it on C-41 film will result in incorrect colors and density. We offer a separate C-41 kit for color negative films.
Q: What is the disposal method for these chemicals?
A: Do not pour chemicals down the drain. Please collect spent solutions in a sealed container and take them to a local hazardous waste disposal facility or a photo lab that accepts chemical waste for recycling.
Q: Does the kit include instructions for pushing or pulling the film?
A: The included guide covers standard E-6 processing times. For pushing or pulling, we recommend adjusting the First Developer time only. Detailed charts for common adjustments are available on our website support page.
Q: How long do the mixed chemicals last if I only develop one roll at a time?
A: Once mixed, the solutions generally remain effective for 2 to 4 weeks if stored in airtight, full bottles away from light and heat. The First Developer is the most sensitive to oxidation, so minimize air exposure.
