Solid upgrade from standard tanks

Works well for both 35mm and 120 formats. The only minor issue is that cleaning the bellows folds requires a bit more attention than a standard tank, but it's worth it.

Great concept, slightly stiff at first

Perfect for minimizing chemical waste

The compression feature works exactly as advertised. I can develop a single roll of 35mm film using significantly less developer than with my old tank. The seal is tight and no leaks occurred during agitation.

Q: Is the lid interchangeable with standard Paterson tanks?

A: No, the lid features a specialized sealing mechanism required for the compression function and is not compatible with standard Paterson or Jobo tank lids.

Q: How do I clean the inside of the compression bellows?

A: We recommend rinsing immediately after use with warm water. For deep cleaning, fill the tank with a mild cleaning solution, extend and compress the bellows several times, then rinse thoroughly. Avoid abrasive brushes.

Q: What is the minimum volume of developer required for one 35mm roll?

A: Thanks to the compression feature, you can effectively develop one 35mm roll with as little as 350ml of solution, though 400ml is recommended for easier agitation.

Q: Does this come with reels included?

A: This package includes the tank and bottle only. Reels are sold separately to allow you to choose your preferred brand (stainless steel or plastic) compatible with the tank diameter.

Q: Can this tank be used with C-41 color processing chemicals?

A: While the material is chemically resistant, this tank is specifically designed for B&W processes where temperature precision and agitation styles differ. We recommend using dedicated color tanks for C-41 to ensure optimal temperature stability.
