Good quality, fast shipping
Arrived well-packaged without leaks. The chemical smells standard for a D72 type developer. I haven't processed a full batch yet, but initial tests on scrap paper look promising with good shadow detail.

Getting a full liter of working solution from a 500ml bottle is great economy. The developer maintains its activity well during a session. Highly recommend for students or hobbyists on a budget.

Reliable staple for B&W printing
I have been using D72 variants for years, and this concentrate is consistent. It yields plenty of prints before exhaustion. The normal contrast is ideal for most of my negatives without needing filtration adjustments.

Perfect for my home darkroom
This developer works exactly as expected. The 1:1 dilution is very convenient for tray processing, and the contrast comes out normal and crisp on my Ilford papers. Great value for the volume provided.

Solid performer
No complaints here. It develops evenly and doesn't stain the paper base. The bottle cap seals tightly which is important for storing the remaining concentrate. Will buy again.

Decent but instructions could be clearer
The product itself works fine, but the label instructions were a bit vague regarding development times for different paper speeds. I had to run test strips to dial it in. Once set, results are good.

A: The concentrate is shipped in a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic bottle to ensure safety during transit and resistance to chemical corrosion.
Q: What is the approximate number of 8x10 prints one liter of working solution can produce?
A: While it varies based on image density and agitation, you can generally expect to process approximately 20 to 30 sheets of 8x10 paper per liter of working solution before replenishment or replacement is needed.
Q: How should I store the leftover concentrate after opening?
A: Store the bottle in a cool, dark place with the cap tightly sealed. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight to maximize the shelf life of the concentrate.
Q: Does this require any special temperature control?
A: For best results, we recommend maintaining the working solution between 20°C and 22°C (68°F - 72°F). Significant deviations may affect contrast and development time.
Q: Can this be used for developing film as well as paper?
A: No, this D72 formula is specifically designed for black and white photo paper processing. It is not recommended for developing film negatives as it may cause excessive grain and fogging.
