Perfect for custom CRM integration
I bought this specifically for the secondary development capabilities. The SDK documentation was clear enough to integrate call pop-ups directly into our internal customer database. Works flawlessly with our analog lines.

Saved our old phone system
We needed a way to digitize records from our old analog PBX without replacing the whole system. This Zipei box connected easily and allowed us to archive calls to our server automatically. Excellent product.

Great hardware, software needs tweaking
The device itself is solid and picks up caller ID instantly. The bundled basic software is a bit dated, but since we are using the API to build our own interface, it doesn't matter much. Highly recommended for developers.

Good value for developers
If you know how to code, this is a goldmine. You can trigger events on incoming calls and log recordings automatically. Took me about two hours to get a prototype running. Deducting one star because the sample code is only in C#.

Reliable USB recording solution

Works but not for non-techies
It does record calls and show caller ID, but the default interface is confusing. If you aren't planning to do any secondary development or don't have IT support, you might find it difficult to set up initially.
