Comprehensive guide for beginners
This set is absolutely wonderful for anyone starting their journey in Chinese painting. The step-by-step breakdowns for plum blossoms and orchids are very clear. I love how it covers both Gongbi and freehand styles.

Beautiful illustrations

Great value for a complete set
Seven volumes for this price is a steal. The content is dense and informative. My only minor critique is that some instructions assume you already know specific brush names, but overall excellent.

Inspiring collection
I bought this to improve my lotus paintings and was pleasantly surprised by the variety. The hibiscus and morning glory sections are particularly well done. Highly recommended for art students.
