Exceeded expectations

Beautiful craftsmanship
The solid wood feels very premium. It fits a standard 357g cake perfectly. I deducted one star only because the sliding lid was a bit tight at first, but it loosened up with use.

Good but slightly small for thick cakes
The box is well-made, but if your tea cake is compressed very thickly, the lid might not slide completely shut. Works fine for standard thickness cakes though.

Great gift packaging

Sturdy and elegant
