Dual-use feature is a game changer
I love that I can use this both as a ground insert and on a flat platform. It makes switching between riverbank fishing and dock fishing very convenient without needing extra gear.

Solid construction
No plastic creaking or bending under load. The stainless steel components seem resistant to rust after my trip to the saltwater coast. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Compact and portable
Fits easily into my tackle bag. The carry bag included is a nice touch. Only wish the angle adjustment had more distinct click stops, but overall it holds the position well.

Great value but stiff at first
The build quality is excellent for the price. The rotation mechanism was a bit stiff out of the box, but after a few uses, it loosened up perfectly. Highly recommend for casual anglers.

Good but not for rocky ground
Works great in sand or soft soil. However, if you are fishing near rocky terrain, the spike struggles to penetrate. You might need a hammer to get it in, which is a bit inconvenient.

Perfect for beach fishing
This stand is incredibly sturdy. I used it on a sandy beach last weekend, and it held my heavy sea rod securely even with strong waves hitting the shore. The spike goes in easily.
Q: Can I adjust the angle while the rod is in the holder?
A: Yes, the 360-degree rotation and tilt lock allow you to adjust the angle even with the rod inserted. However, for safety, ensure the reel drag is engaged before adjusting.
Q: Does this come with a carrying case?
A: Yes, the package includes a durable nylon carry bag with a drawstring closure, making it easy to transport and store the stand when not in use.
Q: What is the maximum weight of the rod this can support?
A: The stand is tested to securely hold rods and reels weighing up to 2.5 kg (approx. 5.5 lbs). It is suitable for most standard hand rods and medium-heavy sea rods.
Q: Is the material resistant to saltwater corrosion?
A: Absolutely. The metal parts are made of stainless steel with an additional anti-corrosion coating, making it ideal for saltwater environments. We still recommend rinsing with fresh water after use.
Q: Will this stand work in hard clay soil?
A: Yes, the sharpened stainless steel spike is designed to penetrate various soil types including clay. For extremely hard ground, we recommend using a small mallet to assist insertion.
