Good quality, precise dimensions

Perfect for my shoe repair machine
I needed a replacement bushing for my vintage sole stitching machine. The SF-2 bearing fit perfectly and runs smoothly without needing constant oiling. Highly recommended for small workshop equipment.
Q: What are the standard inner and outer diameter tolerances for the SF-2 series?
A: The standard tolerance for the inner diameter is H7 and for the outer diameter is h6. Please refer to the specific size chart in the product manual for exact measurements based on your required dimensions.
Q: Can these bearings be used in wet or underwater environments?
A: While the SF-2 bearing is oil-impregnated, it is not specifically designed for continuous submersion in water. Prolonged exposure to water may wash out the internal lubricant. They are best suited for dry or occasionally damp conditions.
Q: What is the maximum rotational speed recommended for this bushing?
A: For dry running conditions, we recommend a maximum sliding speed of 0.6 m/s. If external lubrication is added during operation, the speed can go up to 2.5 m/s. Exceeding these limits may cause overheating.
Q: Is this compatible with stainless steel shafts?
A: Yes, the SF-2 sintered bronze material is fully compatible with hardened carbon steel and stainless steel shafts. Ensure the shaft surface finish is smooth (Ra < 0.8) to minimize wear.
