Great material quality
The stainless steel finish is clean and professional. It matches the aesthetic of the printer well. The included screws are good quality too. My extruder alignment is now perfect.

Essential upgrade for reliability
After my plastic mount cracked due to heat creep, I switched to this metal one. It handles the heat much better and gives me peace of mind during long print jobs. Highly recommended for any UM2 owner.

Perfect fit for my UM2+
This stainless steel bracket is a huge upgrade over the original plastic part. It fits perfectly on my Ultimaker 2+ and provides much better stability for the hotend. Installation took about 20 minutes.

Good value for money
Does exactly what it says. It's a simple part but makes a big difference in print consistency. Took off one star because the instructions could be clearer, but if you know your printer, it's easy.

No more heat issues
We use our UM2 Extended heavily in our workshop. This metal bracket has eliminated the warping issues we had with the stock part. Very satisfied with the durability.

Sturdy but tight fit
The build quality is excellent and feels very durable. The screw holes were slightly tight, requiring a bit of force to align, but once installed, it is rock solid. No more wobble during high-speed prints.
Q: Will this affect the auto-leveling sensor position?
A: No, the design maintains the exact original dimensions regarding the inductive sensor mount. Your auto-leveling calibration should remain accurate after installation.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Ultimaker 2 or just the Plus version?
A: This bracket is compatible with the original Ultimaker 2, as well as the UM2+ and UM2 Extended models. The mounting points are identical across these versions.
Q: What tools are required to swap the bracket?
A: You will typically need a hex key set (usually 2.5mm and 3mm) and a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the fan and disconnect the wiring harness before swapping the bracket.
