Perfect for beginners!

Authentic brush feel

Good but runs out fast

The writing experience is smooth and the tip is very responsive. However, if you use it heavily for large lettering, the ink cartridge seems to deplete faster than expected.

Great line variation

As an artist, I use these for quick sketches. The line variation is impressive for a pen of this price point. Only giving 4 stars because the ink takes a second to dry on glossy paper.

Q: Is this pen refillable?

A: No, the Zebra Brush Pen is designed as a disposable unit and cannot be refilled once the ink is depleted.

Q: Is the ink waterproof?

A: The ink is pigment-based and offers good water resistance once fully dry, but it is not 100% waterproof like archival India ink. We recommend testing on your specific paper if waterproofing is critical.

Q: Can I use this on watercolor paper?

A: Yes, it works well on watercolor paper. Since the ink is water-based, please allow it to dry completely before applying any watercolor washes over it to prevent smudging.

Q: Does the tip fray after extended use?

A: The nylon fiber tip is quite durable. While heavy pressure or rough surfaces can eventually cause fraying, normal use for calligraphy and signing typically keeps the tip in good condition for a long time.

Q: What is the difference between this and the medium tip version?

A: This Extra-Fine model starts with a very thin line when held upright and broadens as you apply pressure. The Medium version has a slightly larger base tip, producing thicker lines even with light pressure.
