Perfect for learning Copperplate
This oblique pen is exactly what I needed to start my calligraphy journey. The soft nib allows for beautiful thick and thin lines with minimal pressure. Highly recommended for beginners.

Great quality, needs breaking in
The vintage nibs are high quality but felt a bit stiff out of the box. After dipping them in warm water and writing a few lines, they smoothed out perfectly. Excellent flow now.

Authentic Hunt quality
You can tell these are genuine USA imported nibs. The consistency is far better than generic brands I've tried. The oblique holder fits comfortably in the hand for long practice sessions.

Good value set
Getting the pen plus extra nibs is a great deal. One nib had a slight imperfection, but since there are spares included, it wasn't a problem. The writing experience is smooth.

A: No, this set includes the oblique pen holder and replacement nibs, but ink is sold separately to allow you to choose your preferred color and brand.
Q: How do I clean the nibs after use?
A: Simply wipe the nib gently with a soft cloth or rinse under lukewarm water immediately after use to prevent ink from drying and clogging the tines. Dry thoroughly before storing.
Q: How many nibs are included in the package?
A: The package comes with one pre-installed fine point nib in the pen and five additional replacement vintage nibs.
Q: Can I use this for modern brush lettering?
A: This pen is specifically designed for dip calligraphy (Round Hand and Flourished Script) using liquid ink. It is not intended for modern brush lettering which typically uses brush pens or markers.
