Best brush pen I've owned

Smooth and consistent flow

Excellent for bullet journaling

Great colors, slight bleed on thin paper
Love the vibrancy of the colors. Just be aware that if you use very thin printer paper, there might be some slight bleed-through. Works perfectly on marker paper or cardstock.

Perfect for modern calligraphy
The flexibility of the brush tip is incredible. It responds beautifully to pressure changes, making thick and thin strokes effortless. Highly recommend for beginners and pros alike.
Q: What is the difference between this and the Pentel Pocket Brush?
A: The Touch Sign Pen has a fixed fiber brush tip, whereas the Pocket Brush uses a real synthetic hair brush inside a pump mechanism. The Touch is better for consistent line variation and durability.
Q: Does the tip split easily?
A: The fiber tip is highly durable and resistant to splitting. With normal use and proper capping, it should maintain its shape for a long time.
Q: Is the ink waterproof?
A: The ink is water-based pigment ink. While it is generally archival and lightfast, it is not fully waterproof and may smear if exposed to water before completely drying.
Q: Can this be used on dark paper?
A: Standard colors are not opaque enough for dark paper. For dark surfaces, we recommend looking specifically for the Pentel Touch Sign Pen in White or Metallic varieties.
Q: Is this pen refillable?
A: No, the Pentel Touch Sign Pen is designed as a disposable unit and cannot be refilled. However, it has a long lifespan due to its efficient ink capacity.
