Great concept, smooth writing
The writing experience is very smooth, similar to a gel pen but with the feel of a fountain pen. The erasing function works well, though you have to rub firmly. Just remember not to leave your notes in a hot car!

Good but ink fades in heat
The pen writes beautifully and the eraser is convenient. However, be aware that the ink is sensitive to heat. I left my notebook near a window on a sunny day and some of my writing disappeared. Good for drafts, maybe not for permanent records.

Kids love the magic aspect

Perfect for my daughter's homework

Solid everyday pen
Works exactly as described. The nib is fine enough for small handwriting. Erasing requires a bit of friction but it does remove the ink completely. A great tool for learning and correcting mistakes instantly.
Q: Does the ink disappear permanently when erased?
A: The ink becomes invisible when friction creates heat, but it can reappear if exposed to very cold temperatures (below -10°C). For normal classroom use, it remains erased.
Q: Is this pen suitable for left-handed writers?
A: Absolutely. Since the ink dries quickly and the erasing mechanism relies on rubbing rather than chemical solvents, it is very friendly for left-handed users without smudging.
Q: What is the tip size of the nib?
A: The nib is designed as a fine point, approximately 0.5mm, which is ideal for elementary students and detailed writing tasks.
Q: Will this work on glossy photo paper?
A: We recommend using this pen on standard wood-pulp paper or notebooks. The erasing friction may not work effectively on glossy or coated surfaces, and the ink might smear.
Q: Can I replace the ink cartridge when it runs out?
A: Yes, the Dianshi DS9564 uses standard international short ink cartridges compatible with most erasable fountain pens.
