Works as advertised

Fit perfectly into my Les Paul style body. The 2T2V layout is exactly what I needed. Only minor issue was one capacitor lead was a bit short, but easily fixed.

Good quality components

The potentiometers are sturdy and the wire quality is decent. I had to trim the ground wire slightly to fit my specific cavity, but overall a great value for the price.

A: While physically possible to install, this kit is optimized for electric guitars with high-impedance pickups. Bass guitars often require different capacitor values or pot resistance (250k vs 500k).

Q: Do I need to buy solder separately?

A: Since the kit comes pre-soldered, you generally do not need to solder anything unless you need to extend wires or modify the length for your specific instrument.

Q: Are the pots linear or audio taper?

A: All potentiometers in this kit use an audio taper (logarithmic), which is standard for volume and tone controls in electric guitars.
