Works well in rotary barrels too
Despite the name emphasizing vibratory machines, I tested this in my rotary barrel and it performed just fine. Good lifespan before needing replacement.

Essential for my jewelry hobby
This is now a staple in my workshop. It handles round bead grinding efficiently and saves me hours of hand sanding. The consistency of the granules is very uniform.

Good value for silver polishing
I use this primarily for cleaning up sterling silver castings. It removes the oxidation nicely and leaves a nice satin finish. Takes a bit longer than expected but the results are worth it.

Decent but creates some dust
The polishing action is good, but I noticed a bit more dust than advertised when running the machine dry. I suggest adding a little water or compound to mitigate this. Otherwise, it does the job.

Great for delicate emeralds
I was worried about damaging my emerald samples, but this media is gentle enough. It polished the surface beautifully without chipping the stone. Will definitely buy again.

Perfect for my jade beads
These walnut abrasives work wonderfully in my vibratory tumbler. My jade beads came out with a smooth, high-gloss finish without any scratches. Highly recommended for semi-precious stones.
Q: Can this be used with liquid polishing compounds?
A: Yes, these walnut abrasives are designed to work excellently with liquid polishing compounds to enhance the shine on metals and stones.
Q: Do I need to separate the media from small beads manually?
A: For very small round beads, we recommend using a media separator sieve or a mesh screen to quickly separate the abrasives from your finished jewelry.
Q: Is this safe for soft stones like opal?
A: While gentle, we recommend testing on a single piece first for very soft stones like opal. It is generally safer for harder stones like jade and emerald.
Q: How long does one batch typically last before needing replacement?
A: Depending on usage frequency and material hardness, a single batch can typically be reused for 10 to 15 cycles before the granules break down too much.
Q: What is the approximate size of the granules?
A: The granules are crushed to a fine mesh size, approximately between 60 and 80 mesh, ideal for final polishing stages.
