Perfect replacement part
My original hotend got clogged with carbon fiber filament, so I swapped this in. Installation took less than 10 minutes and prints are back to perfect quality.

Good quality, fast shipping
The build quality feels solid. The steel nozzle is great for abrasive filaments. Only giving 4 stars because the fan cable was slightly stiff to route.

Essential upgrade for P1P
If you plan on printing anything other than basic PLA, get a spare hotend. This assembly is identical to the stock one but ready to go when you need it.

Saves so much time
Instead of trying to clean a burnt heater block, I just swap the whole unit. This makes maintenance incredibly easy for my P1P.
Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature?
A: The assembly is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C, which covers most engineering filaments like ABS, ASA, and Polycarbonate blends.
Q: Does this come with the silicone sock?
A: No, the silicone sock is not included in this package. You can reuse your existing one or purchase it separately.
Q: Can I use this nozzle for printing Carbon Fiber reinforced filaments?
A: Yes, this assembly features a hardened steel nozzle specifically designed to handle abrasive materials like carbon fiber and glass fiber.
Q: Is this compatible with the X1 Carbon as well?
A: Yes, the P1P and X1/X1C share the same hotend assembly design, so this is fully compatible.
Q: How difficult is the installation process?
A: It is very straightforward. You simply disconnect the fans and sensors, unscrew two bolts, and swap the unit. No calibration is usually required.
