Great quality but runs slightly hotter
The build quality is excellent and feels very robust. I noticed the fan needs to work a bit harder to keep temperatures stable compared to the original, but print quality on PETG has improved significantly. No more oozing.

Solved my clogging problems
I was constantly clearing jams with the standard hotend when using glow-in-the-dark PLA. This integrated metal throat setup completely eliminated the issue. Highly recommend for anyone pushing their printer with specialty materials.

Solid performer

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
Switched to this TZ4.0 assembly specifically for printing carbon fiber nylon. The hardened steel nozzle handles it without any wear, and the metal throat prevents clogging issues I had with the stock PTFE lined version. Installation was straightforward.

Drop-in replacement

Essential for engineering filaments
If you plan on printing PC or ABS regularly, get this. The thermal stability is much better than the stock unit. My layer adhesion has improved, and I haven't had a single heat creep incident since installing it.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, this TZ4.0 assembly is designed specifically for the X1, X1-Carbon, P1P, and P1S series. The A1 mini uses a different extruder architecture.
Q: Can this handle PLA at standard speeds?
A: Absolutely. While designed for high-temp and abrasive filaments, it works perfectly fine with PLA, PETG, and other standard materials at all speed settings.
