Decent but pots feel cheap
The plate itself is fine, but the potentiometers feel a bit stiff out of the box. They might loosen up with use, but for the price, it's an acceptable trade-off.

Excellent upgrade component

Good quality, minor adjustment needed
The metal plate is sturdy and the chrome finish looks great. I had to slightly bend the tabs to get it to sit flush in my specific body, but otherwise, it works well.

Solid value for money
Does exactly what it says. No frills, just a functional control plate with decent wiring. The instructions could be better, but if you know how to solder, you're good.

Perfect fit for my project bass
This plate fit perfectly into the cavity of my JB-style build. The pre-wired setup saved me a ton of time, and the solder joints look clean and professional.

A: Absolutely. The plate uses standard mounting holes, so you can easily unsolder the existing pots and replace them with premium components if you wish.
Q: Does this come with potentiometers installed?
A: Yes, the control plate comes with both volume and tone potentiometers pre-installed and wired.
Q: Is the ground wire long enough to reach the bridge?
A: The ground lead is approximately 6 inches long, which is sufficient for most standard bass bodies to reach the bridge grounding point.
Q: What is the resistance value of the pots?
A: The standard configuration includes 250k ohm pots, which are typical for passive bass pickups.
Q: Will this fit a standard Fender Jazz Bass body?
A: It is designed for JB-style basses. While it fits most standard Jazz Bass replicas, we recommend checking your control cavity dimensions before purchasing as some vintage specs vary slightly.
