Perfect upgrade for high-temp filaments
Switched to this 70W rod for printing PEEK and it maintains temperature perfectly even at high fan speeds. The build quality feels superior to the stock heater.

Good value replacement
Bought this as a spare and ended up using it immediately when my original failed. It's a direct drop-in replacement and works flawlessly with the Afterburner toolhead.

Reliable and fast heating
The 50W version heats up my hotend significantly faster than my old cartridge. No issues with the connectors or wiring after three months of heavy use.

Great performance, tight fit
Works exactly as described on my Voron 2.4. Installation was straightforward, though the silicone sock fit was a bit tight. Once installed, heating is very consistent.

Solid construction
The braided wires are high quality and the connector feels secure. I appreciate that it comes with a small sample of thermal paste for installation.

Essential for engineering materials
If you are printing Polycarbonate or ABS, this is a must-have. The 580C rating gives plenty of headroom, and the temperature stability is excellent.
Q: Can I use this with a 12V power supply?
A: No, this heating rod is specifically designed for 24V systems. Using it with a 12V supply will result in insufficient heating performance (approximately 25% of rated power).
Q: How long is the wire lead?
A: The high-temperature braided wire leads are 1000mm (1 meter) long, which is typically sufficient for most Voron frame sizes without needing extensions.
Q: Does this come with a thermistor?
A: No, this package contains only the heating rod. You will need to reuse your existing thermistor or purchase one separately if yours is damaged.
Q: Is this compatible with the Voron Switchwire extruder?
A: Yes, this heating rod is universally designed to fit the Voron Switchwire, as well as the Afterburner and AB/SB toolheads mentioned in the description.
Q: What is the difference between the 50W and 70W versions?
A: The 70W version provides faster heat-up times and better temperature recovery during high-speed printing or when printing materials that require higher temperatures like PEEK. The 50W is sufficient for standard PLA, PETG, and ABS.
