Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel nozzle assembly specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA. The print quality is exceptional, and the all-metal throat handles the higher temperatures needed for engineering materials without any clogging issues. Installation on my X1C was straightforward.

No more clogs!
I was experiencing frequent clogs with my previous setup when printing at high speeds. This TZ4.0 upgraded assembly solved the problem immediately. The smooth bore of the metal throat makes a huge difference.

Essential for P1P users
If you plan on printing anything other than basic PLA, get this assembly. The hardened steel nozzle lasts much longer than standard ones when using glass-filled filaments. My P1P has been running non-stop for weeks with zero issues.

Solid upgrade
Does exactly what it says. The heating is uniform, and the thermistor readings are accurate. It took about 15 minutes to swap out the old unit. Just remember to run a calibration flow after installation.

Consistent extrusion
Very impressed with the build quality. The integrated metal throat eliminates the gap where filament often gets stuck in hybrid designs. Layer adhesion looks perfect on my ASA prints now.

Great performance, slightly tricky install
The hotend works flawlessly once installed. I noticed a significant improvement in temperature stability compared to the stock brass nozzle. The only reason for 4 stars is that tightening the integrated throat required a bit more care than expected to ensure a proper seal.
