Consistent performance in a shop environment
We bought five of these for our office printers. They handle continuous operation well and maintain temperature stability better than our previous nozzles.

Perfect fit for E3D V6
Screwed in perfectly without any cross-threading issues. I'm running ABS and PETG with no clogs so far. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their hotend.

Precision engineering at its best
The tolerances on this nozzle are impressive. My dimensional accuracy has improved, especially on small details. A solid upgrade for precision work.

Great quality but requires careful handling
The precision is top-notch, and the internal bore is very smooth. Just be aware that copper is softer than brass, so avoid cleaning it with metal tools to prevent damage.

Excellent flow rate for bulk printing
This copper nozzle significantly improved my print speeds on large prototypes. The heat conductivity is noticeable, and layer adhesion remains strong even at higher velocities.

Good value for high-temp materials
Works well with PLA+ and Nylon. The only reason for 4 stars is that it took a bit longer to reach target temperature compared to my old brass nozzle, but the print quality makes up for it.
Q: What is the maximum recommended temperature for continuous use?
A: While the material can withstand up to 450°C, we recommend continuous operation between 200°C and 300°C for optimal longevity and performance with most filaments.
Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the standard E3D V6 heater block?
A: Yes, this NF-Volcano copper nozzle is specifically designed to be fully compatible with the standard E3D V6 heater block and hotend assembly.
Q: How do I clean the nozzle if I get a clog?
A: We recommend heating the nozzle to the filament's melting point and using a soft brass wire brush or a specialized needle cleaning kit. Avoid using steel drills which can damage the copper interior.
Q: Can I use abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber with this copper nozzle?
A: Copper is softer than hardened steel. While it works great for standard filaments, we do not recommend using highly abrasive materials like Carbon Fiber or Glow-in-the-Dark PLA as they may wear down the orifice quickly.
Q: Does this come in different hole sizes like 0.2mm or 0.6mm?
A: This specific listing is for the 0.4mm orifice. We do offer other sizes in separate listings; please check our store catalog for 0.2mm, 0.6mm, and 0.8mm options.
