Great for wash care tags
We use these for clothing hang tags and wash care instructions. The text remains legible even after multiple wash cycles. Only giving 4 stars because the core was slightly loose upon arrival, but didn't affect performance.

Perfect for our shipping labels

Excellent for silver labels

Good quality, fast delivery
The print quality is sharp on our coated paper stock. It took a minor adjustment to the printer darkness setting, but once dialed in, it works flawlessly. Would recommend for general office use.
Q: Is this ribbon compatible with Zebra GK420d printers?
A: Yes, as long as your specific GK420 model is the thermal transfer version (not direct thermal only) and you select the correct width (likely 104mm or 110mm depending on your setup), this ribbon will work perfectly.
Q: Does the 300m length fit on a standard 1-inch core spindle?
A: Yes, all our rolls come with a standard 1-inch (25.4mm) inner core, which fits the vast majority of desktop and industrial thermal transfer printer spindles.
Q: What is the shelf life of the ribbon if unopened?
A: When stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources, the unopened ribbon has a shelf life of approximately 18 to 24 months without degradation in print quality.
Q: How do I determine if the ink side is out or in?
A: You can perform a simple tape test: stick a piece of clear tape to the outer surface of the ribbon roll and pull it off. If ink transfers to the tape, the ink side is out (CO), which is correct for most printers requiring this configuration.
Q: Can this be used on synthetic polyester labels?
A: This is a wax-based hybrid resin designed primarily for coated paper and semi-gloss materials. For pure synthetic polyester labels, we recommend a full resin ribbon for maximum durability and adhesion.
