Good product but pricey
It works exactly as described and feels very robust. The only downside is the price compared to brass nozzles, but I guess you pay for the longevity and performance with tough materials.

Solved my wear issues
My brass nozzles were wearing out too fast with glass-filled nylon. This hardened steel tip has completely solved that problem. Print quality is sharp and precise.

Great durability, slightly harder to install
The quality is excellent and it handles high temperatures well. Just be careful when tightening as the steel is very hard; use a proper wrench to avoid stripping. Once installed, prints are flawless.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel nozzle specifically for printing with carbon fiber PLA. It has held up perfectly without any signs of wear after several spools. Highly recommended for anyone moving beyond standard PLA.

Essential upgrade for V6
If you own an E3D V6, this is a must-have upgrade. The heat resistance allows me to push my printer to higher temps for engineering materials without worrying about the nozzle deforming.

Consistent flow rate
After running hundreds of hours, the flow rate remains consistent. No clogs or widening of the orifice. Worth every penny for professional-grade results.
Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the original E3D V6 hotend?
A: Yes, this nozzle is specifically designed to be fully compatible with the original E3D V6 hotend system.
Q: How does the thermal conductivity compare to brass?
A: Hardened steel has lower thermal conductivity than brass. You may need to increase your print temperature by 5-10°C to achieve similar flow characteristics.
Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature?
A: The hardened steel construction allows for safe operation up to 450°C, making it suitable for most high-temperature engineering plastics.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with flexible filaments like TPU?
A: Absolutely. While optimized for abrasive materials, it works excellently with flexible filaments provided your retraction settings are tuned correctly.
Q: Does it come with a cleaning needle?
A: Yes, each package includes one cleaning needle to help maintain the nozzle and clear minor blockages.
