Good quality, easy install
The aluminum heatsink looks robust and the fit on my Ender-3 V3 SE was perfect. Installation took less than 10 minutes. I deducted one star only because the included thermal paste tube was nearly empty.

Great value upgrade
For the price, you get a complete hotend assembly that feels very premium. The machining on the aluminum block is clean with no burrs. My print temperatures stabilized immediately after swapping.

Solid performance
Works exactly as described. The hardened steel nozzle handles high temps well. Just make sure to level your bed again after installation as the height might vary slightly from your old worn-out nozzle.

Solved my clogging issues

Perfect replacement for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel nozzle assembly to print carbon fiber PLA, and it works flawlessly. The pre-assembled unit saved me a lot of time compared to building one from scratch. Heating is uniform and consistent.
Q: What is the thread size if I want to swap just the nozzle later?
A: The nozzle uses a standard M6 thread, which is common for most Creality printers. You can replace just the tip with other M6 hardened steel nozzles in the future.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Ender 3 Pro?
A: No, this assembly is specifically designed for the Ender-3 V3 SE. The mounting geometry and connector types differ from the older Ender 3 Pro models.
Q: Does this come with a thermistor and heater cartridge?
A: Yes, this is a complete hotend assembly that includes the pre-installed thermistor and heater cartridge, ready to plug into your mainboard.
Q: Do I need to update my firmware after installing this?
A: No firmware update is required. This is a hardware replacement that functions identically to the stock hotend regarding electrical signals. You may need to re-run your auto-leveling sequence.
Q: Can I use this nozzle for printing pure metal filaments?
A: While the nozzle is hardened steel, we do not recommend printing pure metal filaments as they require extremely high temperatures and specialized extruders beyond standard FDM printers. It is ideal for composite filaments like carbon fiber or glass fiber PLA/PETG.
