Great quality, minor assembly note
The components are high quality and the hardened steel heat break is a nice touch. Just make sure to apply the included thermal paste generously during installation.

Solved my clogging issues
I was having frequent clogs with my stock hotend when printing abrasive filaments. This CHC-V6 kit has been running flawlessly for weeks with carbon fiber PLA.

Good product but tricky install
The hardware itself seems solid, but the installation instructions could be clearer for beginners. I had to watch a YouTube video to get the wiring right.

Solid construction
Very robust build quality. The ceramic coating adds a layer of durability that standard aluminum blocks lack. Deducting one star only because the thermistor wire was slightly short for my cable chain setup.

Perfect upgrade for my Voron
This kit fit perfectly into my Voron 2.4 build. The ceramic coating on the heater block seems to retain heat very well, and temperature stability is excellent even at high flow rates.
Q: Can I use this with abrasive materials like Carbon Fiber or Glow-in-the-Dark PLA?
A: Absolutely. This kit comes equipped with a hardened steel heat break and is designed to handle abrasive filaments without wearing down quickly.
Q: Will this fit a stock Prusa i3 MK3 without modifications?
A: Yes, this CHC-V6 style hotend is designed as a direct drop-in replacement for the stock E3D V6 hotend found on Prusa i3 MK3/S/+ printers.
Q: Does the package include a nozzle?
A: The standard kit includes the hotend assembly, thermal paste, and mounting hardware. Nozzles are sold separately to allow you to choose your preferred size and material.
Q: Is this compatible with a 12V power supply system?
A: Yes, this kit is available in both 12V and 24V versions. Please ensure you select the correct voltage option before purchasing to match your printer's power supply.
Q: What is the maximum recommended printing temperature for this hotend?
A: While the heater cartridge can reach higher temperatures, we recommend operating up to 300°C for standard high-temperature filaments. Always check the specific rating of the nozzle you install.
